Eco Fairs in Havant Park (10-4) and the Pallant Centre (10-2)

We’re be launching the week with our Eco-Fair in Havant Park. Stalls with advice and eco-products, activities, food, live music. Try an e-bike. Plant sale, juice bike. Come and enjoy the fun.

The Pallant centre will be hosting an Eco Traders Fair on the 24th of September. There’ll be some very exciting stall holders from candles to upcycled homeware and creations made from remnants. They are also setting a charity shop challenge for up to ten young people, each will be given £20 to buy a second-hand outfit from a charity shop. They will then show case their outfit on the Pallant stage at 12 noon – the best outfit will win a £20 gift voucher.

Havant Library of Things

Why buy when you can borrow? Havant Library of Things is helping to tackle our obsession with consumption by offering “things” to borrow at the fraction of the price of buying new. We will be running a drop in session so that people can find out what is on offer, sign up for free and reserve an item in the future. You will find us at the front of Havant Station behind the taxi rank where we will be opening up for a pop in session during the Havant Eco-Fair from 2pm to 4pm.

Hayling Repair Café

will be launching today with a special event for volunteers, attended by the Mayor. The Repair Café will be running fully from Saturday 29th October (10am, until 12.30). To find out more, contact repaircafehayling@gmail.com or  their Facebook page (Repair Café Hayling).

Inside each tree are wildflower seeds that will be replanted across Havant, taking the installation back outside, and propagating future ecosystems.
